The constant rain suddenly stopped about a week ago, replaced by bright sun and high pressure clouds. Steady trade winds have finally set-in and pushed all of that gray away. Now the boat-repairs are in full-swing and Reach is no longer turning green...

Even though the rain didn't previously hamper regular jungle walks, now there is a feeling of a change of season. Baby fauna are seen finding their way around in their new world. It never gets dull discovering & identifying new critters every day ~ from monkeys to birds to insects. The camera is getting its share of use, and Jose's [grande] camera too. She got an amazing picture of our first Slaty-tailed trogon sighting - check it out on Wikipedia!
