Things are finally returning to normal 4 months after our lightning strike. Most happily, Reach is whole again with the mast stepped and the last of the new instruments installed (our neighbor had the same idea that day). We even have some cool new rain guards and a complete suite of sun shades, so we are all ready to anchor out once again.
Best of all, Mark has been able to take a break from all of that work to get out and enjoy the area. We took a day-trip with Nick & Jose (Jedi) to Isla Galeta and the Rio Chagres. Photography is still the hobby of the day and Jedi have been having fun creating pictures for photo contests on the DGrin photography forum, in addition to our jungle walks around the ruins of the old Fort for birds, beasts & bugs. We'll soon miss these scenes and our friends...
