Reach made her way back dockside in Shelter Bay Marina. The jungle welcomed us back with butterflies, parrots, woodpeckers, caciques, tanagers, anis, vultures, hawks, euphonia, dacnis, seedeaters, anteaters, monkeys and crocodiles.

The first leg of our trip to the States landed us in Michigan to visit family. Downtown Flint is re-gentrifying around University and Medical facilities. It is now quite scenic with original street arches re-installed and active with new bars and restaurants. Over dinner with Jim & Barb, we visited the sight of the former Cole's store.

We had so much fun spending time (& goofing-off) with family. Anne took us blueberry picking! It was Michele's first time and was one of the fruits we'd been craving, since we don't find blueberry bushes on the islands. Dianne & Duane had us all over for dinner and a cutthroat game of Euchre, where we got to see Paul, Nick, Chad and the kids, Ashton and Boston. Boy, do they always seem to grow so fast and seem much smarter than we were at their age! Michele was able to keep up with her yoga and even had company on occasion with dog Bo helping out. Michigan decisively wins the award for the best IPA's, as we toured the State one beer at a time.
