Saying farewell to friends is tough, especially when you've been sailing together for several years. That time came recently for Reach and Kaya to part ways (for now). Charlie and Lizz are heading back to the States for some exciting summer and fall plans, while we are heading towards the Rio Dulce in Guatemala.
During the past two years in the San Blas, our catamarans shared many beautiful anchorages together and the four of us thrived on spending quality time together in paradise.
Charlie and Mark were at the top of their fishing game and Lizz and Michele quite the experts at cooking up the catch of the day!
We each love the San Blas in our own way and realized how lucky we were to be able to share it through similar interests.
The best part about it all was when we were just living life in its daily rhythms and at times like these, simply happy to be doing it together.
Even though our cruising grounds are diverging, we know we'll meet out on the water again someday. In the meantime, we'll just have to plan some land visits! Farewell for now friends.
