During our Stateside visit, we rented a car to take a detour to visit friends in Connecticut. Summertime is fantastic in New England and we had the perfect weather for taking in the scenery.
Where else to hook up for a happy hour with a group of friends but at Skippers' Dock overlooking the gorgeous boats in Stonington Harbor? We still miss everyone dearly and wish we could have spent more time with each of you here!
We stayed with Dave and Judi ~ plus Tilley & Taz ~ in their new house and had a day to visit our old stomping grounds together. They have quite an impressive wine-making set-up, complete with awesome wine cellar! Taking the card playing up a notch from Euchre, we had a serious match of 500 that got more competitive with each bottle of wine. Being professionals in that aspect, the girls team prevailed in the end.
