The motion onboard is different off the island Miriadiadup as new currents flow past our hulls while we watch kids frolic on the beach from our cockpit. We finally weighed anchor from the "Pool" after seven fun weeks, saying goodbye to our friends above and below the water. Panama is a special place with the luxury to be able to move slowly and savor each spot for an extended time. Yet we love to sail and travel and are already starting to research and "plan" for our next destination, also fun in itself.
Before leaving the "Pool", we got to meet and spend time with new friends Jerry & Susan (Vida Dulce) and Vlad & Attilla (Bettie), as well as catch up with fast friends Tom & Julie (Gris-Gris) and Brita & Dave (Anam Cara). Many festivities ensued and our stay was topped off with a fantastic birthday celebration for Tom over barbecued ribs, good music and smooth rum! Tom wasn't the only one that was happy that day - good times!
After a long awaited reunion with Frank, Gretchen & Loki (Infinity) and Charlie & Lizz (Kaya) the kiting, fishing, eating and snorkeling commenced. We're looking forward to spending the holidays with them this year extended family-style.
